Spin Betty Girl Breakup!
The members of Spin Betty Girl have decided to end their nearly four-year
career. Band members cite "band burnout" as the main reason.
SBG will finish out their summer shows (See the Shows
section) and are recording a two-cd compilation of all of their material
before calling it quits. If you'd like a copy of the double-cd set, send
us email and we'll get back
to you with pricing and availability. Recording begins the first weekend
in August. The CDs should be available in late summer or early fall. Look
for some individual SBG members to start or join new projects in late '97
or early '98.

New Demo Being Mastered!
Spin Betty Girl just completed mixing their second studio release.
This six-song tape includes Space Patio Garden, Life in Latex, Woebegone
Sunshine, Dry Lake Bed, The Tinkley Song, and Feather Bed. Look for it
at Spin Betty Girl shows in May or June.
Watch for a CD later this year!
